About Parish

Vickramasingapuram is one of the substations of Iruthayakulam parish. Order of Frairs Minor capuchin came to stay here in the year 1987. It was one of the industrial area. So many people who came for seeking job are settled here. As the catholic population grew in big number, it was felt that it should be erected a new parish. Since capuchin were there, parish was entrusted to their care. It was elevated as parish on 26th June 1994. New church was built up and consecrated on 30th June 2002. They are doing marvelous work. Besides spiritual ministry they also concentrate on social, economical and educational field.
