HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Dear all, This month our diocese celebrates its 37th birthday. It is a moment to say both "Thank you" for all that has been and to say "Yes" to all that are to be."
We thank God for our first bishop, most Rev. S. Iruthayaraj, who served our diocese for the 26 long Grace-filled years. We thank God for our bishop, Most. Rev. Jude Paulraj, for his dedicated 10years of service to the diocese. We thank God for everyone who ministered in our diocese: priests, brothers, sisters and lay people. We thank God for God's countless blessings in many forms. We thank God for all our benefactors, friends and well wishers in our mission. We thank you, readers, for your contribution for the wellbeing of our diocese.
As we look ahead it is also a time to say "Yes:" yes to all that God brings in our way. We pray to god for the wisdom to perceive opportunities and challenges; for courage to transform challenges into opportunities for the greater realization of God's Kingdom; for the love of God present in and through us and our ministry.
As we celebrate the birthday of our diocese, we also celebrate the birthday of Our Beloved Mother Mary. As her birth and life were tremendous blessings to our world, may our life and ministry be a tremendous blessing to our world. May she intercede and inspire us to be faithful and thus be successful in our mission to God and God's people. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM.
