  1. New Secretary for TNBC/TNLBC: Most Rev. Dr. Thomas Paulsamy, Bishop of Dindigul is elected as Secretary for TNBC/ TNLBC.
  2. New Deputy Secretary for TNBC/TNLBC: Rev. Fr. L. Sagayaraj from the diocese of Thanjavur is elected as Deputy Secretary for TNBC/TNLBC. He will take charge on June 1, 2017.
  3. New Chairman for Bible Commission: Most Rev. Dr. Devadass Ambrose is appointed Chairman for this Commission.
  4. New Chairman for Anpiam Commission: Most Rev. Dr. A. Amalraj is appointed Chairman for this Commission.
  5. New Chairman for Vocation, Seminaries, Clergy and Religious Commission: Most Rev. Dr. J. Susaimanickam is appointed Chairman for this Commission.
  6. New Patron for CDPI-TN-PY: Most Rev. Dr. J. Susaimanickam is appointed Patron for this conference.
  7. New Editor for Nam Vazhvu: Rev. Fr. L. Gnani Raj is selected as editor of Nam Vazhvu and he will take charge on June 1, 2017.
  8. New Secretary for Liturgy Commission: Rev. Fr. Arputha Raj from the diocese of Thanjavur is selected as Secretary for this Commission and he will take charge on June 1, 2017.
  9. New Secretary for Catechetical Commission: A new Secretary is identified and his name will be let known later.
  10. New Joint Secretary for Women Commission: Mrs. Angela from the diocese of Trichy is appointed as joint Secretary for this Commission and she will take charge soon. The present Secretary Sr. Irene is relieved from her post as Secretary for Women Commission.
